I'm not sure if anyone saw the posts on this sub of photos from the Women's March. They were glorious. For those who didn't catch them, search.

Today I marched and danced and sang in the snow. I held a sign shaped like a uterus, made by a friend’s little girl. I caught up with an old buddy. I met a few new friends. I wore my brightest yellow sweater and matching gloves. It was so much fun and all our minds were at ease. We were all sisters. We were all happy. We were all proud.

I'll never forget this day. I am so, so proud of every single one of you. And I'm proud of myself. Do you remember when we first started this? We were all like "Oh fudge. The world has gone to s**t. What do we do?"

And then we talked. And then we made a plan. We started knitting hats and sewing scarves. We made signs and posters. We rallied. We organized. We marched. We danced. We sang.

And then we accomplished something major. Something that will go down in history. Something no one could ever forget.

This is the power of the feminine. This is what happens when women come together.

A lot of people have been asking what's next. Well, let me tell you what's next.

Next, we rest. We take tomorrow to sleep in, to snuggle up on the couch, to bake cookies and make dinner and read a book in bed. We take tomorrow to watch the news and read the newspaper. We take tomorrow to revel in our glory.

And then on Monday, we get back to work. We contact our local government and tell them exactly what we think. We write letters and sign petitions. We stand up for each other. We speak up when we see an injustice and we have open conversations. We talk to strangers. We listen to other perspectives and try to see the other side. We open minds and change hearts. We get to work.

We are the daughters of the witches that they forgot to burn.

And we are just getting started.
