What went wrong with screaming and being angry at the cops all the time? Being genuinely polite and caring is better than screaming at people I don’t agree with politically?

I recently got pulled over for going 100 in a 65. I pulled over to the right, kept my hands on the wheel and was super respectful when the cop came over. He asked me for my license and my car’s registration. I told him where they both were and slowly leaned over to get them. I gave him them both and he took them to his car and when he came back he was extremely nice and handed me a warning and told me to slow down.

Then you see people on the news who are resisting arrest and attacking the cops. Even if you don’t agree with them politically or with what they’re doing, shouldn’t you be more calm?
