Saw A poster today at my local grocery store. "We accept EBT for delivery orders. Just pay via self pay with the dollar store app!"

There is no dollar store app, and it isn't a dollar store. The dollar store is a few blocks away. You know who does have an app that is called "dollar store app"? It is the self pay app used by the grocery store where I saw this poster. <br><br>This makes me sad. Those who will be using this will be stealing from the government. I know that there are some folks who need EBT and can use the self pay app with no issue, but this sign was posted in a very small town in north Florida. We have a high percentage of EBT users here. <br><br>I am certain that this poster was placed by an employee, and this employee is trying to encourage folks to steal. I have seen self pay apps used for shoplifting. You simply scan the items and then just set them on the belt. Walk out of the store. If confronted, just act like you are an idiot and didn't know any better.<br><br>I am so upset after seeing this sign. But I guess that is why they call it shoplifting.
