I don’t blame you for being here

I don’t blame you for overtaking our homes. I don’t blame you for being attracted to the warmth of our lights or the smell of fruit. You aren’t evil, and I can’t blame you for overtaking our homes and having babies. Most animals do the same thing we do. We are just humans, but you add something to the world that we can’t. <br><br>I’ll admit that it’s annoying to have to sweep your shell out of every corner, but I know you’re just trying to survive. I know you only have a few months to enjoy life, and I blame that on our awful weather, not on you. I blame that on our awful earth and humans for ruining the environment. <br><br>I don’t blame you for your smell, for I know it’s a defense mechanism to keep you safe. I don’t blame you for having babies, for you are just trying to keep your species alive. I don’t blame you for being here, for this is the earth as much as it is ours. We are just a part of this earth like you are, and I know you add something special to our community. <br><br>So, this is my apology to you. I know we think you’re a pest, but you deserve to be here as much as we do. I just wish we humans, as a whole, realized that. I just wish humans realized we need to take care of our world and the creatures in it rather than hating them.
