My brother's new girlfriend is a gold-digger

My brother is 32, very successful, and rich, he's also highly functioning autistic, you would not know if I didn't tell you but it's the reason why he finds it tough to date. He's extremely attractive and has a good personality, I just think after being rejected by a few people in his younger years because of the autism (and him being in denial about how obvious it is in the beginning) he just struggles to find the confidence to date.<br><br>He's had a few girlfriends in his life, but nothing serious. Never a date that lasted more than a few weeks. He's just too anxious about it.<br><br>He met a girl recently. Instantly said she was his "type". She's not. She's not his usual physical "type" at all. And she's also completely different in personality. A little Worried, I asked him about it and he just said he was excited about her which is why he thought she was his type. I left it at that.<br><br>Him: 6ft5, blue eyes,well-built because of the gym. Just generally attractive and well-built. Also, very smart. He has a high paying job in tech and has a 6 figure salary. He also has a lot of savings.<br><br>Her: 5ft4, dark hair, brown eyes, a little bit overweight. Also attractive, just not his usual type. She works as a waitress at a high end restaurant. She has a lot of debt and uses her money recklessly on fancy clothing, purses, and accessories.<br><br>Let's just say, you can tell why she was with him.<br><br>Anyway, so I meet her. She's nice enough, but a bit vain and self-obsessed. I visited them together recently and she spent a good hour complaining about how she can't afford a Louis Vuitton handbag and doesn't know what to do. I offered to help her get a job so she could afford one, she said that was not the solution. My brother offered to look at her finances to see if she was spending money on things she didn't need, she declined.<br><br>I understood instantly. She wanted my brother to buy her the bag. And he did. It was so obvious and awkward when he offered her the bag and she accepted, I felt so disgusted by her.<br><br>Since then, she has been living with my brother and has not worked a single day. She just sleeps in all day and then spends his money. She also doesn't even have sex with him.<br><br>I spoke to my brother about it but he doesn't want to listen to me. I said I had never seen him in such low spirits, but he has to listen to me and that it can't go on like this. He said he had realised and was going to end it. But he didn't end it. He said he needed time to find the confidence to do so. 4 months later, he hasn't done anything.<br><br>I'm fucking worried. I love my brother so much and it hurts to see him treated like this. I'm worried he might never find the confidence to end it and she'll marry him, cheat on him, and take his money. I don't know what to do when my brother won't even listen to me. I don't know if I should just intervene and do something myself, I'm worried that will make things worse. I just want him to be happy again.<br><br>I almost wish he was still a bit lonely. At least he was happy and not being taken advantage of.
