I (M30) think my wife (F27) is trolling, but would like some reassurance

Our wife is a fantastic cook. She always makes some sort of homecooked meal and has never messed any of them up. Her cooking is also varied, and she doesn't repeat the same dish very often. She cooks everyday when she isn't busy with work or when we are eating out.

However, yesterday, I woke up up to a burning smell. It smelled like the kitchen smoke alarm was about to go off. I moved towards the smell and found her in the kitchen, burnt on one side of her face. I asked her if she was okay and she said she was trying to flip the chicken in the pan, but ended up getting burnt in the process.

The thing is... the rice was also burnt, and the vegetables too. It wasn't normal burnt, but like coal burnt.

I'm a bit worried because she isn't one to burn foods. She is a very good cook and it's weird to see her make a mistake like this. I jokingly said maybe she wanted to troll me with burnt food and just burn herself in the process to see my reaction, but I also feel a bit worried deep down about it.

Was it really just an accident?

TLDR: Wife is a fantastic cook, but she managed to burn her face, the rice and vegetables. Was it really a mistake?!

EDIT: I'm all for giving off the benefit of the doubt, and that she probably burnt herself accidentally. I think it's just the fact that I have never seen her burn a dish in all these years that we have been together, and now she not only burns the food, but also her face. It just seemed a bit off, which is why I posted it here to get some reassurance from you guys about it.

Also, it doesn't matter how many dishes she has burnt. What matters was that she burnt herself and potentially the house.

EDIT2: Yes, she is okay, and the burns weren't too serious, thankfully. I just wanted to see what people thought about it!
