I was an early adopter of minimalism on chambers, around 2012. I posted a lot on my local sub, r/neworleans and r/minimalism. I got a few thousand followers on Instagram around 2014-2015 from sharing my mostly empty apartment. I have never looked back and now with 3 kids and still pretty minimalist, I'm putting up a lot of reels on IG and raking in the followers.

I can't recommend the practice enough. I go to the store and almost never see anything I want to buy, knowing where it will end up. I have a simple understanding of what is good quality and I like to pay a premium for things that will work forever. I have an easy time getting rid of things I no longer like or use. Give it a shot if you haven't already.
