Writing and everything else

I am in the middle of writing my first paper. <br><br>In my first year of college, I learned literally NOTHING. I was never able to finish an assignment on time, and I was always asking for extensions, and I only finished about half of any given assignment on time. <br><br>Then, all of a sudden, I learned how to write in 2 days. <br><br>Now I am sitting here writing a 5 page paper, and something is just really bothering me. How do I go from one extreme to the next?
