My friend and i have been friends for almost 20 years. We met through soccer. Always got on very well, despite him being quite a womanizer and player. Last two years he has calmed down a lot and has been dating a woman for that time. He was a groomsman at my wedding.

My wife and he NEVER had sex. They met twice and he flirted with her, before we met. Some years later she messaged him on fb. He tried to flirt again, she told him off and he was very embarrassed because of me being his friend. We laughed about it afterwards, he apologized. My wife had not deleted him from fb though.

This happened years ago and we never thought of it again, untill I found sexts between them. She said he initiated again a few weeks ago and she did not end it. I scrolled up a bit and she was actively flirting, initiating sexting and sending nudes. It was clear she enjoyed it.

I am lost. We have been married for 10 years, together for 16 and i never had any problem with loyalty before. I am certain of that. They have never met up (he lives far away and we don't see each often), but the sexting has been going on for 2-3 months.

My friend knows i found out. I don't plan on telling him what exactly i saw, but he knows i am very angry. I have not taken any action yet. I told my wife to unfriend him and change her FB settings, which she did. We will go to couples counseling. But what about the friend?
