Any other college kids having trouble cooking?

Because I'm making a lot of the same 5 dishes and I'd like to try something new. What are your favorite budget dishes? I'm looking to spend around $3 a meal if possible. <br><br>I know you can make rice and beans for like 50 cents but I'm looking for something a little more interesting than that<br><br>I can cook a bit, just don't have the money to buy a ton of ingredients so I'm looking for something that uses mostly staples. <br><br>Thanks :)
