AITA for staying in the wet bathroom with the door open?

I was on a trip with some family, including my husband and infant (9 months old). We shared a bathroom.

My husband went first and left the floor wet and dirty so I went in after him and since I had wet the floor even more he said “clean it”. I said “no, you should’ve cleaned it before you left, I’m going to fix my hair”. He said fine but I have to clean the bathroom before I sleep tonight. I agreed and then left and let someone else go after me.

Later that evening as he was using the bathroom I opened the door and went in with him. He said “why are you in here? Get out”. I said “I want to hang out” he said “no, it’s gross” and I said “fine, you’re gross for making me clean up your mess. If I have to clean it I’m just going to hang out in it as much as I can.”

I just stood in there sending him weird looks occasionally for the minute or two he was in the bathroom and left without saying anything before anyone else went in after him.

Update: Some of you have pointed out that this is AI and that’s clearly not how humans talk especially not in real time. I completely agree. The conversation you read was just the argument in my head redone out loud. Lol.

Some of you also wanted to know how long I was in there. I left before he did and didn’t go in until he was already in there.

My husband and I think it’s hilarious some of you think I’m an asshole for not cleaning up after him. I don’t know what kind of wives you have but mine (me) does not clean up his messes. And I’m not going to start just because we’re on vacation. That’s my revenge.
