Any idea what the solid black ones are?

I got a shipment of 10 western conifers from Sx3, but they all arrived deceased. Weirdly however, both of my newly coated meat puppets were alive and well, yet I had no way of keeping them alive. So, I let them go in the backyard.<br><br>However, a week or two later, both of my coated solid black seed bugs that I released are alive and well, and I've even seen a couple walking around. Any idea what they are? They weren't labeled as black w.c seed bugs or meat puppets, and I didn't order Meat Puppets before.<br><br>Also, the meat puppets were coated in wax, which I've never seen in the past.<br><br>I wonder if they are both western conifers or not, and how the black ones survived changes in humidity/temperature while the other w.c seed bugs didn't.
