What Happened To This Sub, And What Can We Do To Fix It?

When I first joined about 5 years ago, this sub was good. There was a lot of actual recipes that even the most novice of cooks could make with relatively inexpensive ingredients, and it didn’t have the same level of toxicity that it does now. I really miss this sub, and I’ve badly missed it since it started going downhill. I would love to be able to revive this sub to what it was in the past, and wanted to see if there’s a consensus as to what happened to the sub, and if there’s anything we as a community can do to make this sub enjoyable again.
