So, one day, I was working on a project and suddenly I had this huge idea. What if the series, the books, the movies, all the different creations were actually real historians and anthropologists from another world/dimension trying to document our times.

Yes, it might sound a little bit far-fetched but hear me out. I think there's a lot of potential and possible stories that this concept could be useful for, and I will list them down here in the next few lines:

1- **Understanding different cultures through the lens of the past**: Imagine anthropologists from the year 4040 trying to understand our early view of the world, our values, our ways of living, our outfits, our music and so on. They would be creating their own versions of the world, based on the different reports they have, and if they were from different places, they would have different views of the world. Just like we are. The Americans would have their own view of the world, the Europeans would have another one, and so on.

2- **Reconstructing history**: Imagine historians trying to rebuild history, but having incomplete data, or biased data, or actually having an alternate version of history. That would allow for the creation of alternate universes, or alternate timelines.

3- **Exploring parallel universes**: This concept could be used to explore the idea of parallel universes. The idea is that there are an infinite number of parallel universes, and each time a choice is made, a new universe is created. Think about the concept of the butterfly effect, imagine a world where the Industrial Revolution never happened. And then you have people from those worlds imagining an alternate history where it did happen, and then you would have common series and books.

4- **Exploring the concept of 'what if'**: Think about the 'what if' questions we have, when we are reading the news. 'What if this politician had never been elected?' or 'What if this war had never happened?' These historians would be exploring those questions, and that's what their creations would be, common 'what if' questions that people from our time were wondering.

5- **Commenting on current issues through the lens of the past**: Historians and anthropologists from the future could be using our time as an example of a time before certain events had happened, and exploring how they were imagining the future. They could also use our time as a warning, or a way of teaching new values or ways of thinking.

6- **Using science fiction to comment on the present**: This would be a way of using the past and science fiction to comment on the present. For example, the historians could imagine how far we would have evolved in 4040, and then use that evolution to comment on how we are living today. They could imagine what were the biggest mistakes, what were the biggest accomplishments, what were the biggest changes, and how the world is now, and how it was before.

7- **Reimagining the past through the lens of the future**: Just like we are reimagining the past, we can imagine that they are doing the same thing, but with an even larger perspective of time. They could be imagining the past in a completely different way than we are, or imagining their own versions of history.

8- **Exploring the concept of time travel**: This concept could be used to explore the idea of time travel. Imagine historians and anthropologists from the future traveling to our time to document history, and then going back to their own time, and then, creating their own versions of history.

9- **Exploring the concept of history as a subjective concept**: This concept could be used to explore the idea that history is not objective, but subjective, and that the way we understand the past is influenced by our own biases and perspectives. In this case, the creations of the historians and anthropologists would be subjective, and they would be influenced by their own biases and perspectives.

I think there's a lot of potential in this idea, and it could be explored in many different ways. What are your thoughts, what kind of world would you imagine?
