Middle aged white guy here, I have recently been to multiple trendy places and I never want to visit another "Instagrammable" restaurant ever again.

I am a 43 year old guy, and live in the US. I'm white, well to do, and recently have been visiting some "it" cities for a vacation. Austin, Nashville, Napa, Nashville, and have been frequenting a lot of the "trendy" places to eat, and I have to say, there is nothing I would hate more than going to another restaurant in which half the people there are taking photos of their food and the decor. It seems like no matter where I go, it's the same people, taking the same photos, and it's annoying as all hell to me. If I want to eat a salad, I do not want to have ten people around me taking photos of their salads and the "vibe" of the place. Goes for coffee shops, and really anything new that opens up.

I don't want to sound like a Karen, but I'm tired of traveling to cities and seeing so many of the same people, doing the same thing. I don't care what type of person they are, I just know that it seems to be a very large percentage of people at these places. I have to believe that there are still places to visit and go to that don't cater to "influencer" type of people. Anywhere I should go, especially in the US, where I can just go and not be besieged by people taking photos?
