What do you think about historical anime ?

I really don't understand how it's different from it's historical drama counterpart, historicals are my least favourite genre in anime but I've heard many of them are good, so I'm curious about this, what do you think of it or is any historical anime worth watching, I really don't have issues with it being in anime form or whatever, if I had to pick one I would rather watch a historical epic like 300 than historical anime, I don't even like Attack on Titan but I think it has more historical thematic than most historical anime, I don't know, maybe I'm being stupid here or whatever: /<br><br><br><br>Edit: thanks everyone for commenting,.<br><br>Edit 2: since we're in the topic of historical anime, do you think there's any historical anime that will have a season 2 and it makes you happy or speechless ?
