This was a hard holiday for me.

I didn’t have much expectations for the day and luckily I was able to talk to my aunt which did help a lot.<br><br>But the loneliness hit. I am not sure why I keep holding on to the idea of a traditional family. It is everything I would have wanted for myself if I had a choice but this was not the case, and I grew up in a home with a lot of drugs and alcohol. <br><br>I have to stop blaming myself.
