I live in Australia and I’ve been hearing this bee noise in my bedroom all night but no bees are present. I looked it up and the only thing I could find was some people saying it’s aliens communicating with them

Is this a thing that people have heard? It sounds exactly like loud bees buzzing outside your window. I’ve looked up Australian insects and animals to see if it matches and it doesn’t. I live in the bush so there’s animals and insects everywhere. It’s been raining so I thought maybe it’s something coming out of the rain or something but it’s not the wind or thunder.

It stopped now and I’m glad because I was getting annoyed but I want to know what it is . Do any Australians know what this noise is? Or has anyone heard this noise at random?

This is the perfect opportunity to make up some bullshit about how I’m special and chosen by aliens lol but I just want to know what the fuck it is.

Edit: to @starlight_sadiator: I know it sounds ridiculous and I don’t really believe in aliens, but hearing it sound exactly like bees and finding that link is pretty weird. My house is in the bush and I get a lot of bugs in the house from having trees and plants around so I know it’s nothing out of the ordinary for this to happen, but I’m certain it’s definitely not any Australian animals and I’ve never seen bees fly around at night.

To clarify, I don’t really believe I’m being contacted by aliens, but it certainly was a weird thing to find that post about it.

Edit: thanks for the responses, I’ll keep checking for bees and bugs but I’m certain it’s not those. I’ll also think about the wind, it was raining and the weather was changing so I might’ve gotten the vibe of that. I’ll just look into all these things thanks :)
