From the /c/westernconiferseedbug community on Chambers

My steam iron has just boiled over during a steam clean. The spurting water now contains roughly 50 western conifer seed bugs, in the process of dying and melting. They have left a puddle of stinky liquid behind them as a reminder of their doomed adventure. I can’t help but wonder how it was that so many bugs were drawn to the steam nozzle on my iron.
