I am not suggesting they don't do good with their money, but I am wondering if they actually know how to use all that wealth even if they wanted to.

Let's assume that you need about approximately $50 million to live a life of luxury. That's a figure I made up, remember, this is just hypothetical.

Amazon has revenues of about $500 billion, which is about what the entire gdp of Sweden and Norway is combined, but much smaller than the next largest technology company, Apple, which has revenues of about $2 trillion. If Jeff Bezos is responsible for $500 billion, that means that he earns about 1% of that figure in income, or about $5 billion.

To spend $50 million *every single day* and earn $5 billion per year, you would need to live for 27.4 years, or until 2050. Do you think it's possible to spend $50 million per day?

Let's try again, but this time we'll have $200 million per day. If you earn $5 billion per year, or $13.7 million per day, and you want to spend $200 million per day, then you can only live for 36.5 days.
