How do we determine our niche?

So I'm a writer. I write multiple genres: horror, sci-fi, comedy, romance, poetry; I've even made a children's book. But, I know that people tend to write in one niche or genre. What is the best way to identify where my niche is?<br><br>I'm not sure if this should be in r/writing or r/creative_writing, let me know a better chamber if I should post this somewhere else, thanks.<br><br>EDIT: I've also posted this in r/writing as some of you have suggested.
