If a gay man is marrying a woman, is it assumed to be a "green card marriage"?

I've seen many times where a gay male couple will stay together for years, decades, and then the non-American person in the relationship gets a "green card" being able to live in the USA as they are married to a US citizen.<br><br><br>I'm curious if there is a gay man that marries a woman, assuming both people know the gay man is gay. What mentally is going on there? is it a "friend zone" thing, if the woman is ugly, fat, whatever is it then thought that its a "green card" marriage or something else. I think there was a case of a gay NFL player and he married a woman and had kids, what happens there mentally is it the same thing where its like "I know you're gay and you know you're gay, but we'll still have kids together because we're just such good friends"? I don't really get it.
