How can you look a kid in the eye and tell them that education is important when they're growing up with AI in the world?

What's crazy about all of this is the fact that these people who are calling for AI bans are old, they did not grow up with AI. If you're a baby boomer, your job has already been chosen for you. You've got a head start in your chosen field. You already know what education is good for.<br><br>But how in the world can you look a kid in the eye and tell them that education is important when they're growing up with AI. You're going to work your entire life wondering if your job is going to be taken by AI, what is the point of getting an education? So you can get a piece of paper that is now worthless? So you can have something to brag about when you're working the same job as a 19 year old who dropped out of high school and didn't even bother taking the SAT? What is the point of having an education if all of your skills can be fulfilled by AI? There is no point. With the way education is, this is unsustainable.
