$100 billion dollar question: what would be the most efficient way to spend $100 billion to reduce the time to AGI, if we weren't responsible to anyone else?

I would guess the money split to be:<br><br>40% for the best neuro & cog psy colleges <br><br>10% for a US public university with very little bureaucratic redtape<br><br>40% for a single company<br><br>10% for an incubator that finances many projects<br><br>I don't see how an unfettered, single-researcher AGI approach could be feasible. I've worked in many fields: I know how it always looks from the outside. <br><br>I do think that with $100 billion, you could do in 10 years what current research is doing in 100 years. That is, if money isn't the main limiting factor.
