How can I be a good parent and work a 12 hour day?

I have three small kids (4 and under) and just started a new job that requires 12 hour shifts at the office (averaging 4-5 days/week). I'm finding it hard to balance parenting duties and work. My job doesn’t allow me to work from home. I've talked my husband into moving closer to work so I have 2 extra hours per day. What else can I do to keep my job and be a decent parent?

We have no family in the area and cannot afford a nanny.
