# Law and Order: SVU (Olivia Benson)<br><br>Thank you for taking the time to read this. This is a prompt from a friend for a fanfiction and i've written as Olivia Benson from Law and Order: SVU. Please let me know what you think of it. <br><br>&#x200B;<br><br>“You know i would never do that don’t you Liv?” He looked at her with a smile across his face before he took a bite of his salad. <br><br>“I know Alex. You are an idiot sometimes and would never hurt anyone. But i have to do my job” Olivia looked at him and frowned slightly. <br><br>“Did you see the look on her face. She must’ve seen the look on my face. The panic.” He raised an eyebrow. <br><br>“I saw the look on your face. I’m your partner and i know you better than anyone. You are not exactly subtle” Olivia raised an eyebrow. <br><br>“So you believe me then?” Alex put his fork down. <br><br>“Of course i do. I have always known you’re not that kind of guy. You have too much empathy for people. And i know you’re not some rapist that attacks women in alleys” Olivia frowned. <br><br>“If it goes to trial, i want you on the case working it” Alex looked at her and smiled. <br><br>“I don’t want it to be a 2nd degree charge Alex. You’re not some rapist. You deserve justice as much as they deserve justice” Olivia said, her voice firm. <br><br>“It doesn’t feel right Liv. If they lose someone they care about because of a lie, it should be the same as if i attacked someone” Olivia frowned. <br><br>“Alex, you didn’t do it” Olivia said. <br><br>“Yes, but you know how this works. It’s not just some jury’s opinion. It’s the way the law is written.” Alex said before he stood up and walked away. <br><br>I hope this is ok!
