I'm a pediatrician, and I love the babybump posts on this sub.

I've been a medical intern for about 3 months now, and just started my pediatrics rotation. I use Chambers to pass the time after a long day of work. I'm a mid-30s mom of three, and I'm sure people around here are probably younger than I am. I just wanted to say I love looking at the babybump posts you all make, and seeing the babies that are born. I love it. I'm a pediatrician, so I love babies anyway, but honestly, I've seen a few of you in my clinic, and seeing those teeny babies when they're first born is the highlight of my day. And seeing those bump posts just makes me really happy, because I get to see the bumps grow and then the babies be born. It's the best thing in my world right now, and honestly, it's amazing. Thank you all for your stories and for the happy moments you bring to my day.

Edit: I should probably clarify that this is with my patients. I see a lot of baby bumps around the time of birth, and I have a few patients who are expecting, so I get to see the bumps grow and then the babies when they're first born, and it's honestly the best part of my job so far. I had a patient I met when she was 6 months pregnant, now her baby is 3 months old and I see them a lot. It's literally the best thing that's happened in my clinic. Seeing the baby grow and the milestones they hit is honestly the best thing about clinic, for me.
