Why do people talk about anything other than the economy when it comes to dating ?

When you talk about dating and stuff people talk about how much looks matter. Some guys even think because they have muscles they can just ignore game. Like wow sure honey you look great hot etc no one gives a fuck about that if you can’t make money and support a wife.
