I don’t want a job to be a necessary evil, I want it to be a fun, fulfilling choice. And you know what will help in that regard?

Generative AIs like GPT, DALL-E, AlphaCode, Midjourney, etc.

I want to wake up a world where I can make an appointment with a doctor and have a diagnosis ready for you in under 15 minutes.

I want to wake up in a world where I can go to the food bank and I can ask them for a shopping list of the ingredients I need to make a perfect meal, and I can then walk into any grocery store and know exactly what I’m getting.

I want to wake up in a world where my University tuition fee is reduced, because professors don’t need to spend time grading my papers, since a machine can automatically grade my paper, allowing my professors to spend more time teaching, and tutoring me instead of grading.

I want to wake up in a world where I have a home that’s 10% of what the current cost is, since construction companies can complete projects in faster time and lower costs, since they can give automated instructions to build things.

I want to wake up in a world where I can never see another homeless person again, since affordable housing is just widely available.

I want to wake up in a world where my electric, and water bills costs only 5% of my income instead of 50%.

I want to wake up in a world where I don’t have to spend my entire weekend shopping for the groceries and cleaning the house, since machines can do all that for me at much lower costs.

I want to wake up in a world where I don’t have to spend 4-6 years studying something, since everything you need to know is immediately available to you in 30 seconds, and you don’t need to have a degree to get a job anymore, since machines can do all the technical parts of the job, and I can just focus on making sure the human parts of the job are well taken care of.

Generative AIs don’t take jobs, they take the burdens away from us, so we can pursue more creative and fulfilling ventures.
