I got a ticket for having shrooms in my car

I got pulled over on the highway for having an expired tag. Didn't know it was expired because I live upstairs above my garage. It was expired for like a month. Got asked why I have no license plate light on, said I didn't know it was out. The cop went to check my license, and I told him that I have 2 grams of shrooms on it. He said it was illegal in New York, I said I know but it's decriminalized. I'm on my way to drop some off to my buddy and I'll come right back and it will all be gone. He said just give it to me and I'll let you go with a warning. I said, if I give it to you, will you give it back to me? He said no, so I said I can't hand anything to you. So he told me to put my hands behind my back and cuffed me. Now I have an appearance ticket for December 1st. I now have no tag light, and my license is suspended for 60 days.
