#1) Stay armed. If you are carrying now, keep carrying. If you aren't, start. Even if you're "just" going to Walmart. Take a knife or a gun or both if possible. Pepper spray if you don't want to do either. Do everything in your power to make sure you can defend yourself while in public.

#2) Avoid fights. Online, offline, everywhere. Calling someone a n-word or slurring them or whatever might seem like a vacation from the stress the news is causing these days. It isn't worth it. Just ignore these people. If they call you a racial slur, you call them a racial slur and it goes on and on and the next thing you know, you and/or the other guy are dead in a Walmart parking lot, shot in the head at close range. It isn't worth it. Ignore these people. As previously stated, stay armed. If they initiate a fight, you can defend yourself. But do not initiate a fight. If someone calls you a racial slur, ignore it. It isn't worth it.

#3) Avoid confrontations. If someone is painting over a BLM mural, ignore it. If someone is painting a BLM mural, ignore it. If you see a protest, keep going. Avoid confrontations and leave these people alone. It isn't worth it.

#4) Stay calm. Keep a level head. Don't let the news stress you out too much. Stay calm. Avoid confrontations and ignore people online and offline.

#5) Stay safe. Stay armed, stay calm, stay in control of yourself. Don't initiate confrontations. Ignore everyone. Stay safe.

This is not the time for virtue signaling. This is not the time to go out, while armed, and start fights with people you disagree with politically. It isn't. It's better to just avoid people you may find yourself in a confrontation with. If attacked, defend yourself. Don't go looking for a fight though. Or you might be the one getting gunned down in a Walmart parking lot.
