My (32F) boyfriend (33M) of 10 months had a fight with his dad and now I have to pick his mom up from the airport?

I am completely flabbergasted about this and would love some help.<br>I have only met my boyfriend’s mom 3 times and his dad once. We have been together for 10 months and things are getting serious. I haven’t even met his sisters yet, only spoken to them on the phone.<br>We live in the US, but his parents live abroad. He has been trying to get them a visa for his sister’s wedding next year, but somehow they are stuck in the process and they are not traveling to the US for Christmas because of it.<br>He and I were planning to spend Christmas with my family.<br>Last night he had a fight with his dad and now his mom is flying here for Christmas instead. I am supposed to pick her up from the airport in two days, but I haven’t even spoken to her about this. She hasn’t even texted or called me (I’m an adult, full time working woman, not a kid to just be bossed around). I helped plan the trip and lay out her schedule, but she has not once confirmed anything had even agreed to come here.<br>Redditors, I am beyond frustrated about this. Christmas with my parents is non negotiable for me and now his mom is coming. He said he’ll spend Christmas with her and I can spend it with my parents and he will join later.
