I’m a Pizza Guy and I think I almost got kidnapped tonight

I deliver pizza in a city that’s known to be not the greatest. Tonight was a pretty busy night and it’s just me and another driver on the clock, plus the manager running the store, but she ain’t going out on any deliveries.<br><br>Anyways, I get a call from my manager asking if I can take another order that’s about a 10 minute drive away from my current location. I accept the order and look at the address. Now usually when an address is given there is a name. if you get an order with no name that usually means it’s a regular customer who’s order is saved in our system. <br><br>I get to the address and knock on the door after about 5 minutes of waiting for someone to come to the door. Still no one comes. I call the number associated with the order and a woman answers. She says she can see me from across the street. I tell her it’s 17.50 and she says okay. I tell her I’m wearing a green shirt and black shorts and I’m standing next to a big tree. She says okay again and hangs up.<br><br>I text my manager and ask her to call the woman and maybe she gave us the wrong address because I don’t see anybody. After about 5 minutes a woman is walking towards me. She was wearing a skirt that was the length of a thumb and a small bra type thing. She smelled like a combination of cigarettes, alcohol and street. I hand her the food and she gives me $20. I tell her the total and was getting ready to give her .50 in change. For some reason I decided to walk back to my car instead of giving her the change at the door. As I was walking back to my car I saw her walking back to her door with a smirk on her face, like she had just won the jackpot.<br><br>I pull off and call my manager again and ask her if I could get the address again. She said sure and gave me an address that was entirely different than the one I was just at. <br><br>When I get back to the store I tell her what happened. She said she thinks that whoever ordered the pizza knew I was going to be in that area because she had changed the address for that order to an area where I was currently delivering.<br><br>I guess this is a let’s not meet because I don’t think I want to see her or whoever it was again<br><br>Edit:<br><br>To all the people saying this was a hooker who was expecting a different guy and got upset when I gave her change it’s possible, but I never told her to keep the change. And even if I did she still looked back at me like she had just won the jackpot. And she walked to the door with that smirk on her face. Just to say I don’t think it was just that.
