Hello everyone, I've decided to do a little experiment where I will critique your writing, and in exchange for this critique, you critique my writing.

Could you please give me a critique of my writing? I don't have a specific piece that I want you to read, rather I just want you to critique my writing.

And why do I get to decide this? Well I've been lurking on this chamber for nearly a month now and I've noticed that people are very much interested in this concept, and since I have a bunch of free time to read other people's work I decided to do this.

So that's the rules. Critique my writing and I'll critique yours in return.

And if you don't want to critique my writing for any reason at all, that's fine and you can still post your work and I'll critique it.

Want to know more about me? Well here are some things to know about me and what I'll be looking at when I critique your work.

* I have finished 6th grade
* I'm homeschooled
* I've been homeschooled my whole life
* I've held leadership positions and so I know how to speak professionally
* I'm an avid reader
* I've been to some writing classes
* I'm a fan of classical music

So with that out of the way, I'll be looking at the following things when I critique your work.

* Grammar
* Spelling
* Pacing
* Characters
* Plot
* Dialogue
* Tone
* Realism
* Consistency
* Originality
* Style
* Description
* Word choice
* Sentence structure
* Chapters
* Themes
* Tropes
* Credential佩orism

What you can post

* Prose (This is written in the style of ordinary speech and is the most common form of writing. If youre writing a story in paragraphs, then youre writing prose. Examples include Jane Austin's Pride and Prejudice, George Orwells 1984 and Mark Twains Huckleberry Finn)
* Poetry (This is a form of writing that doesn't have to follow the normal rules of writing. Poetry can use special writing styles to help convey meaning and is often used to help express emotions. There are many types of poetry including free verse, sonnet, epic and more.)
* Play scripts (This is how you write a play, in a format that can be used to perform it by people.)

What you cannot post

* Meta
* ChatGPT, AI generated work, or anything other form of AI writing assistance
* Comics, animation, or cartoon critiques
* Panel script writing or film screenplays
* Work such as emails, rteports, articles, legal documents, personal letters, job applications, etc

I can only do line-by-line critiques of up to 3,000 words. If you want a line-by-line critique for a longer piece of work, it may take a while for me to get to it. If you want a critique of only part of a piece of work then I can do that too.

I will keep critiquing your work until you specifically tell me to stop.

I'm not picky about what I read. I will critique any genre of writing and will read/watch anything. I'll even critique your fan-fics if you want me to. There's only one exception to this. I will not read/watch anything that contains NSFW content. If I catch even a HINT of NSFW content I will not critique your work and will ask you to edit it so that it is family friendly and appropriate for all audiences.

And lastly, if you want a critique of your work done in a different format then you can ask me, and if I can do it then I will do it. So when you post your work here you can ask me to do a critique in one or more of the following formats:

* Line by line critique
* In depth critique
* Proof read
* Expert critique
* Peer critique
* Editor critique

Or you can just ask me to critique it without specifying which type of critique.

You can post your work here as a comment, or you can message me your work and I'll critique it. Whichever you prefer.

If you're ready to ask for a critique then please go ahead. I'm ready when you are.
