Why do people hate LAX so much?

I don’t get it. LAX is an excellent airport. Walmarted, yes, but at least everyone is there. I can walk out the door, get to LAX in 15 minutes on the train, and hit 200 cities. With 8 airlines. The least expensive ticket, whenever I want to go. <br><br>There are so many airports that are awful all over the country. MIA, ORD, DFW… Boston. It’s the best airport on the west coast. Just kidding! <br><br>Portland. San Jose. SJC is pretty much the worst on the west coast. <br><br>So many airports you cannot walk outside and get to your destination. I could go to pretty much any city in the US or any country in north or south America and have 9 direct options. <br><br>My friend lives in Boise, ID and it takes her ~6 hours to go to New York because of the connections. <br><br>I get it, I’m a bit biased as I can get to LAX on the metro. Everyone is there and you will always have ~30 flights anytime you want to go. <br><br>But I moved to Tampa. TPA is one of the best airports. A fun little Dali museum in terminal C. Best airport food. You can walk outside and you’re in town. You can walk right out the front door of TPA and be on the beach. <br><br>TPA is an awesome airport and so is LAX. If you hate LAX, I would love to hear why.
