Is the philosophy community becoming too sceptical?

Hey everyone. I know this is a pretty broad topic and not particularly new but I feel like it’s certainly becoming more relevant. I think it’s fair to say that 99.99% of “philosophers” on social media have no idea what they’re talking about, and generally just spout nonsense. But I’ve found that on academic philosophy platforms (like this one) there’s constant skepticism as to whether philosophy is even useful any more. I think this skepticism couldn’t be more misguided in my opinion but I’d like to hear out what you guys have to say.
