My (40M) wife (38F) wants to have a baby with a random black man to “increase the chances of our child being born with blue eyes.”

Throwaway account

I never would have imagined this would be my life when I married my wife (38F). I’m (40M) and we’ve been married for over ten years. In all of that time, I was led to believe she was the complete opposite of a “goldfish girl” with light eyes. She was always adamant that light eyes are a bad and ugly thing and we even had our own dog’s eyes lasered to black. I didn’t think much of it, but looking back I realize how strange that is now.

Then I woke up one morning and she was crying about how she desperately wanted to have blue eyes. A simple contact lens order later and that was that. At the time I thought she looked okay with blue eyes, but it eventually descended into madness after madness. She had laser eye surgery, cataracts, and spent thousands of dollars on light eye transplants (the first transplant is what caused her cataracts).

But she still didn’t have blue eyes after all of that; she just had white pupils that glowed blue in the dark and were green in normal lighting. She then got temperamental blue light implants which noticeably glowed blue in nearly all lighting conditions. She claimed that she elected for the glow in the dark implants, but I’m not convinced. She eventually had these implants removed and is awaiting (more expensive) implants from another doctor that are supposed to be brighter blue and non-glowing.

The story takes a turn for the worse when she says that she wants to have a baby with blue eyes. She was never serious about having kids with me, but suddenly my lack of blue eyes is an issue. The fact that I’m white (neon white after all her treatments) is no longer good enough. She wants to artificially inseminate with a random black man with blue eyes - one of which she is obsessed with who she follows on social media.

I’m at a loss for what to do and am open to suggestions. But brief background: My wife and I both make good money and have a prenup that no longer protects me as it would have 10 years ago.
