Honestly, what is the deal with the 4k60 meme?

I've never been to a convention, but every time i try to get to a panel at an anime con stream I am unable to due to the long, annoying 4k60 intro at the start of every panel. What is the point of this? Firstly, this 4k60 was made for the panels that can be streamed, otherwise the panels wont be allowed to be shown. So why not make a boring regular intro like everyone else (like crunchyroll expo, animenext, etc) instead of trying to be funny? If you want to be funny, 4k60 should be a brief joke before or after the panel.
