What do the women in my house do on their phones all day?

I'm 15 and I live with my mom (38f), dad (39m), baby sister (3f), and my baby brother (2m)<br><br>My dad and mom both work from home most of the time. But I've noticed they spend most of their time on their phones. And I don't really understand why. It's not like they're constantly texting their friends and taking phone calls.<br><br>My mom is either on tiktok or some website, or she's watching tv. She also always has Alexa playing the same music (it's really annoying) and she also always has a podcast blaring in her ear. She hates it when I ask her to share what she's listening to because she'll get all embarrassed and then tell me it's "girly stuff" and rush to turn it off.<br><br>My dad is on a phone call at least once a day, but he's also just on his phone scrolling through something else. Maybe he's browsing but he doesn't do anything on the computer for his job most of the time.
