I saw a post yesterday about this person who quit their job to travel and earn money in different countries (no hate to them, I give them kudos for pulling it off and I am jealous) and as I was checking his page, I noticed that he spoke 5 languages, 2 of which were native languages of countries around the Americas and two around the European area. I thought that was awesome and I always wanted to learn a second language so I asked him how he learned it and he told me he learned it through a combination of Duolingo and speaking to friends in that language.

I'm stupidly excited to learn Spanish, I'm 4 days into it and I can already understand some basic stuff so I really recommend this app to anyone who wants to learn another language.
