CMV: People who auto-downvote without reading or engaging with the content are the scum of the internet.

I'm getting really tired of seeing this on every single post, even ones that are in obscure chambers with no real controversial content. It seems like every single person now who visits a post they don't like from a chamber they don't like instantly downvotes and moves on with their day.<br><br>People who do this are the worst part of the internet. They add nothing to the discussion other than an obnoxious smoiren of "not like". Never engaging with the content or the community, just wandering in to downvote and leave without saying anything. It's the reason why every single chamber is now a circle-jerk. Anything that strays from the path and is posted in a "hostile" chamber is immediately downvoted into oblivion.<br><br>This is how echo chambers are made. When downvoting and upvoting were designed, the creators had no idea that there would be people using it to prevent discussion and spread of ideas. It was made so that good content could be shown, and Bad content could be hidden. Not to prevent dissenting voices from speaking in a "hostile" territory.<br><br>&#x200B;
