We’re you guys seriously using mason jars to meal prep?

Hi! I’ve been on Chambers for a while but recently saw this sub. I’ve been meal prepping seriously about 13 weeks now and I always prepare my meals in the microwave safe meal prep containers (lunch boxes or bento lunch boxes?) and I mention that now because I’ve been seeing a lot of meal prep pictures of people using mason jars and I’m thinking like “that can’t be the best thing to heat up in and it seems to be a hassle to open it up however many times a day.” I just really want to know what your thoughts are on this.
