My mom thinks Israel makes up everything about Palestinian violence towards her

My mom is very intelligent but also very anti Israel. She got very upset when I visited Israel and loved my time there. She said that there are 5 times more Palestinians dead than Israeli's. I asked her why she thinks that is and she said, "It's not uncommon for an occupying force to kill civilians". She thinks that its actually Israel that is doing a lot of the killing of civilians. <br><br>I am the only gay person she knows who is not anti Israel. I do not really consider myself a Zionist, but I support Israel. I do not want to get into an argument with her by saying that newspapers and Wikipedia are lying about who is doing what in Israel. I just want to live my life and not deal with this political drama.
