**Spaghetti with tomato sauce**

Ingredients:
* 1 pound spaghetti
* 1 can of pasta sauce (28 oz)
* 1 tablespoon olive oil
* 2 garlic cloves
* 1bag frozen spinach (wilted)
* 1 pound ground sausage (Italian or sweet)
* 1 pound ground beef
* A little salt, a little pepper

Instructions:
1. Boil a large pot of salted water. Add a couple of large handfuls of salt for 1 pound of pasta. A general rule of thumb is 1 tablespoon of salt for every 4 cups of water.
2. Wash and chop up your garlic. Just smash them and chop them up. Bruise them with a little salt.
3. Add a couple of tablespoons of olive oil to a large pan. On low heat, add the garlic and sauté until fragrant (30 seconds). Add your pasta sauce and stir. If you have ground beef or sausage, brown it and add it to sauce. A pinch of salt and a sprinkle of pepper. Stir.
4. Add your spaghetti to the salted boiling water. Cook al dente (firm to bite). Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the water and add the noodles to the sauce. Mix it well. If the sauce is too thick, add a little pasta water. Then mix in your frozen spinach. A handful. Stir it in and let it cook for a couple of minutes.
5. Serve and enjoy. Add a sprinkle of parmesan (or cheddar) cheese.

Note: you don't need sausage or ground beef. Plain sauce with noodles and spinach will also taste good. You can also add a can of peas and carrots. May not be authentic Italian but it's good.
