The woman in the abandoned house

I live in a nice little house on the edge of my small town, and I have a nice backyard that goes straight into the woods. Now I have a little brother who is 14 years old, and for his birthday as a little warning present I got him a whistle. <br><br>The reason I got him that whistle was because there was a story going on in our town about two girls who had been raped and murdered, and their bodies were found in the woods where my brother and our dog like to go on walks. But he just took the whistle and put it on his jacket so I didn't think much of it. <br><br>Now a few days after his birthday he went on one of his walks but didn't have his phone so I had to call the whole neighborhood to find him. I finally found him in our neighbors house and he asked me if I could stay and watch tv with him so I said ok. His house was on the exact opposite side of town from mine, but I didn't think much of it at the time. <br><br>We were watching a movie and I asked him what took so long and he said he had to walk all the way around town, and that's when I started to get a little confused. I asked him what he meant and he told me that when he was walking through the woods he saw a woman in a abandoned house watching him and that instead of coming home he walked all the way around town to get here. I asked him why he didn't blow his whistle and he said he was to scared to. <br><br>When he said that, everything clicked into place. I figured that the woman he saw might have been the woman who raped and murdered those two girls and that's why she was watching him. I also figured that since he didn't blow his whistle she might not have seen it and might still be looking for him and since she knows where I live I though she might show up to my house thinking hes me. <br><br>So I immediately called the police and told them everything, and they said they would send someone over but in the mean time to stay inside with all the lights off and to not open the door unless I saw a uniformed officer. I did as they said and waited and waited but no one showed up, I started to get really scared and I texted my brother to come to the car. <br><br>We got in the car and drove to the police station and we didn't turn the lights on in the house or anything so if she did come she would still think we were in there. When we got to the station we told them everything again and they were very surprised that no one came to my house yet so they thought we might have been making it all up. <br><br>But I was determined to figure out if this woman was real so I asked them to check the camera on the street where the abandoned house was. And sure enough there was a woman watching my brother as he walked through the woods and the camera was clear enough to where you could read her lips and she was saying "im gonna get you" <br><br>The police were shocked at what they saw and immediately put out an apb. Now it's been 3 months and they haven't found her yet so we're still looking out for her and we're still using the whistle. <br><br>So lady if you're reading this just know im not that scared little boy anymore and the next time you see me you'll be the one who wont make it out alive.
