Anyone else see how ridiculous it is that YouTube is mandating currently employed content creators to verify their account using government ID?

It just makes me sick how we have to prove who we are. If you use the service, can you tell how your day is going because I’m assuming you are verified? I think this is probably the first step to requiring all of us to prove who we are to use it, then we can all be monitored.
