Musk says Twitter will stop controlling "shadowbanning" on January 15th

Is Elon Musk about to call a Twitter troll's bluff? A user named "King”, tweeted at Elon Musk tweeting: “Hi Elon Musk - I think it’s time to stop controlling people’s shadowbans on Twitter. Thoughts?” follow up by another king tweet by the same account: “If we don’t see an uptick in shadowbans by the 15th, you know they’re still controlling us. Let the trolls troll themselves!”. Musk responded very simply by saying “Exactly” followed by a 2nd response in the same thread of just “January 15th”. When Musk say that shadow banning will be removed is he removing the algorithm from Twitter completely? Do you think shadow banning is a good thing or a bad thing?
