How would you feel if all the white people in the world suddenly woke up one day being black?

Let me explain. I’m black and I was thinking about the history of my race. So many of us were forced into slavery, ripped apart from our families, beaten, looked down on even today. My grandma and her parents lived through the civil rights movement. They say they’ll never forget the day Martin Luther King Jr. was shot. My grandma has told me stories about when she and her brother were little, they’d have to go through the back of the restaurant to eat there. If they walked through the front, they’d be yelled at. However, despite all the bullshit we’ve had to go through, the black community is one of the strongest and resilient communities.

We’ve had to work extra hard to get to where we are today. There are black CEOs, Cowboys, teachers, doctors, chefs, anything. Our resilience is the reason the world is the way it is today; a lot less racist.

So let’s say one morning, all the white people woke up black. What would happen? I know this is a lot to unpack, but I’m sure there’d be riots. Would they get discriminated against? Would they see what it felt like to be looked down upon for our entire existence? I know it sounds shitty but I’d honestly like to see how they would handle it.
