AITA for making my girlfriend delete pictures of her ex-boyfriend?

I wanna preface that I’ve known this girl since we were kids and we became a couple a year ago. She and her ex-boyfriend that I’ll just call Josh were in an on-again off-again relationship for practically 7 years before they broke up like two years ago. <br><br>She has posted pictures of them together and with their friends on social media for years and I kinda don’t like them even though I know they’re mostly from before we got together. We have talked about Josh several times and it has come to my understanding that despite him cheating on her multiple times, she still has feelings for him. I try to tell her that I don’t like pictures of them together but she says that they’re just memories and nothing more.<br><br>Her birthday party was yesterday and I was there too as you’d expect. She posted a birthday message on Instagram where she thanked everybody who wished her a happy birthday and put a picture of her with Josh from several years ago. It’s the same picture that she put on her birthday last year too (which is something that really pissed me off). I asked her if she could delete the post and she said no. I told her that I don’t like seeing pictures of them together and she said that can’t I just let her have some memories? I told her that I don’t want to have to see pictures of them together and she said that I don’t have to. I told her again if she could delete the picture but she said no. She told me to stop acting like I was her husband and that I don’t have any right to dictate her what she can do. She then said that she’s not going to delete the post. She told me to go home and I did. <br><br>I’m not sure if I went too far when I told her to delete the picture. I feel like I did something wrong even though she says some pretty screwed up stuff to me on a daily basis
