CMV: Kanye West is the same person he was in his glory era, the reason you don't like him now is because the facade of him being a hero to people on the left has been destroyed

Ever since the George Floyd protests started, there has been a plethora of tweets, articles and other media about Kanye's past history of shitty actions that were brushed off when he was a hero to the left.<br><br>The reason why you see so many old receipts of him being a shithead is because people want to show you that he was always like this but you didn't see it because he was part of your political tribe and defended the values that you hold dear. Kanye has always been an egomaniacal narcissist and why should that have changed just because you agreed with him politically?<br><br>People that were his fans back in 2007-2015 are now saying that he was never them and that they were wrong for believing in him. No, you were right to believe in him because he was a hero to the cause you hold dear and he made music that spoke to you.
